WOW! This home required much scraping, whoever painted this home before failed to prime prior to painting a waterborne enamel. After much scraping we were finally able to start priming and patching.

Day 7 Exterior Painting in Yucaipa California, Wildwood area
We’re starting to wrap things up here on day 7, were are finishing the second coat on the fasia board, accent color, rod iron, and shutters.

Our painters started on the finish coat on the fascia board, we will give this 2 coats. We also prime and painted the garage door and finished the accent color.

On day 5 we finished painting the eaves. We started priming the fascia board, we do so since they get beat up by the sun more. Priming helps prolong color retention, maximizes adhesion and protection. We also started the accent color around the windows.

We were able to to prime the front walls on day 3. Today we applied the finish coat on the front house walls. Here we have started painting the eaves. It great when all the colors start to come together.

We started the application of Vista Paint Weathwrmaster, a hybrid elastomeric today. This will get 2 coats, first coat we backroll (one sprays while another pushes the paint with a roller). Here we have started priming with Vista Paint Uniprime II. We are completing the walls in the back yard first, so we will be applying finnish on the backyard walls on day 3 and hope to start priming the front.
